Hawai’i Surf Association (HSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the unique surf culture of communities across the Hawaiian Islands. Our mission is to honor Hawai’i’s deep-rooted surf legacy by supporting and strengthening each surf community based on its distinct needs. Through our diverse programs and initiatives, we provide opportunities for surfers of all ages to develop their skills, compete at local and international levels, and stay connected to the sport and lifestyle that define our island heritage.

Hawai’i Surf Association (HSA) fosters youth development through its regional surf leagues, supports statewide boardriders clubs, provides interscholastic scholarships, and preserves historic surf events—all to ensure that Hawai’i’s surf culture continues to thrive for generations to come.
